Maybe I’m overly cynical, but I still think a big reason for all the dire predictions is that the scientists and universities are chasing research dollars. They know if enough of them say how catastrophic something will be in the not to distant future, they’ll keep research dollars flowing. No one wants to fund research when everything is fine.Quote:

His goal has always been to shut down the oil & gas industry.
60 Minutes is now a biased mouthpiece for its preferred narratives and Scott Pelly is, and always has been a biased hack of a “newsman” cloaked in calm demeanor. The fact that CBS had to search to find a 90 year old “scientist” who has been wrong about everything for 50 years as an “expert” means this show should be cancelled.
