Speaking of terrible people telling us who they are, I'm reading about the spectacle Hamas is making of turning over the bodies of hostages, and Trump's Gaza Riviera is sounding like a better and better idea.

Maybe. Just one more thing and then I'll drop it. There are lots of other factors in play and I'm not blaming allowing hate speech as a direct correlation to it, but allowing things like the examples you described has been a factor in some horrible people throughout history rising to power. Hasn't happened in this country, thank gawd. Although Paul may argue my last point lol.

Happily, we've got a First Amendment, so what I personally perceive to be your terrible views on this matter are basically irrelevant.

McConnell is out after '26. Shouldn't come as a shock, but Biden tried to run for another term in '24, so I guess one never knows the lengths to which the mentally impaired (and those close to them) will go in an attempt to cling to power.

Frankly, McConnell should retire post-haste, but I'm not sure what the rule there is. If McConnell retired, could Beshear put in a Democrat to finish out his term?
