Politics Thread

I'm not too worried about people like the cow rape guy. He doesn't have much influence. I'm way more concerned that grifters like Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi are not just tolerated but have actually become powerful, influential people. Matt Walsh is a bit of a knob, but I do want to see his "Am I Racist?" flick. I've heard good things, and apparently he makes those two look foolish (which, frankly, shouldn't be a huge accomplishment, but I understand it's pretty funny).

At the end of the day, each person has to determine which set of grifters they hate less. Unfortunately, that's pretty much what it comes down to.

The speculation about the pending Mark Robinson story is wild. Man has already said so many crazy things, what could he have possibly done that was so much worse that the Republicans are calling for him to drop out.

Do you have any issue with the alleged Russian money received by Pool/Johnson/Rubin/Southern/etc? I find it intriguing that Pool at least refers himself as a victim. I wish I could be the victim and receive 100k a month.

I'm only vaguely aware of who those any of those people are.

I read about Robinson's issues. They occurred a decade ago, have not officially been attributed to him unless I missed it, regardless the guy and his bedroom preferences are his business. They might not adhere to Republican family values but I think we can all agree they haven't adhered to those in decades.

Is there a difference between Republican and Democrat family values? I have friends all over the political spectrum who think family values are a good thing. Republicans are definitely more preachy on these things but I think it's safe to say that both parties believe in family, honesty, fidelity and truth

CNN went down the rabbit hole pretty far to all but confirm it was him (Same user name/same email address/stories he posted contained personal information with dates that align with his life).

As far the porn he watches or likes, as long as it isn't child porn or illegal shit, could not care less. The more damning is the statements he wrote, such as calling himself a Black Nazi and that some people deserve to be slaves and that if they brought it back he would buy some. The fact that it was a porn site is just a funny wrinkle.

Not a big poll guy, but one caught my attention. Top 3 issues were:

1) Economy
2) Immigration
3) voting to oppose their opponent.

Obviously number 3 caught off guard. But after thinking about it, makes sense. The percent was 29%. If I had to guess, that percentage would be higher for people in this thread. Awesome times…

Me as well on the pron stuff, I bet you could siphon out comments on boards and make a sane person look crazy. I would guess context would be needed on the salves and black nazi stuff. Could be just some bad placed attempt at humor.
