What's the over/under on the date Biden drops out? The pressure is mounting. Even Pelosi is talking publicly about the possibility.
The plan was never for Biden to serve a full second term. All the Washington swamp Dems knew it. They wanted Biden to beat Trump, then after inauguration at some quick point, they’d force a resignation and install Cackling Kamala as the first woman of color President without having to go through the nuisance of “Democracy” by having her duly elected- which, by her disapproval ratings, ain’t happening.Quote:

I think it's always the right of the voters to question the competency of their candidate, especially mental competency.
So, I think it's up to Biden to address the concerns, allay them or step aside.
Similarly, I'm struck by the total abdication of this duty by the Republicans.
While leading Democrats are questioning Biden's situation and it dominates the news, I never hear of Republicans questioning:
- why they have a convicted felon on the ticket
- why he has no policy proposals and spends his time at rallies fear mongering
- questioning his mental competency as he wonders all over making no sense about sharks, and electric boats, and other nonsense
Just imagine if Biden had spewed that nonsense about the sharks and boats. You can't imagine that.
The Republican Party had an open and competitive primary. The voters (for better or for...no, just for worse) spoke, and the facts haven't really changed since that primary. It's a very different situation from what's happened on the Democrat side.

Not sure that answers why there is no one questioning the points I raised on the Republican side. He wasn't a convicted felon before the primaries.
But, you're probably thinking he had all the indictments then...and you'd be correct.
I've voted Republican in the past, but the party I knew would have never supported a felon or someone who urged followers to stop the people's business by violence. And I haven't voted for a national candidate of the party for a long time, since I think the economics of supply side , massive tax cuts and unfunded wars they gave the country, put us in a fiscal hole that will burden my grandchildren maybe forever.
