Hmm, so that Odom guy actually IS pretty damn good huh? PS what I said about 247 holds true, Odom moves up to 60th in the composite, making him our 7th highest rated recruit, Wilcher moved up to 91st, and our 2020 class is the 5th best in the country with just these two so far. Atlanta Celtics won second round game 73-52. Odom led all scorers with 21 pts on 10-14 shooting, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Kid is efficient. Can’t wait to see him at X. They play tomorrow afternoon.

Edit: Just realized Minnesota D1 is playing there with Ben Carlson. He is putting up good numbers as well. Just click on the menu tab and click on teams to follow them. You can also click on divisions to see the tourney bracket. They are both playing in the platinum bracket. Looks like both teams are 1 seeds.
Wow, to call his numbers “efficient” is an understatement. 32 of 44 at a .727 clip is dominant big man type numbers but he’s doing it either slashing to the rim or with mid range jumpers. He just doesn’t like to shoot the 3 ball. The other stats are equally impressive....a nearly 4:1 ast/to ratio to go with 9 steals in 116 minutes for the tournament.
Saturday’s 2 games set up nicely for the Celtics. Game 1 vs Upward Stars (SC) features 4 Star VT target Myles Tate and will have to contend with 4 Star Big PJ Hall but with a win there, I’m hoping they get Indiana Elite in game 2. They boast a pair of high IU targets, even though 4 Star sharpshooter Anthony Leal does hold an offer from X.
I really like this tournament. There is a ton of 2020 talent on display and the stats are detailed and readily available.....satisfies those off season BBall cravings.

If it comes down to matchups, Odom and the Celtics have a tough out in the morning game for a shot at the Championship. Team Loaded (VA) features 6’7” PF Henry Coleman. He is a top 50 Four Star Virginia Cavalier target. They also have a fast rising 2020 prospect in 7’0” Jeriah Coleman to go along with slick 2021 PG Brayon Freeman.
If they can get past Team Loaded, it’s gonna be a helluva Championship game. Ben Carlson and D1 Minnesota have lost only 1 game all year on this circuit and Garner Road (NC) with Day’Ron Sharpe will be jacked for the rematch!
It has been a condensed 3 days of basketball with all those doubleheaders and I’m sure everyone is a bit fatigued. That certainly seemed to be the case with Odom in game 2 on Saturday. But win or lose Sunday, he has definitely left his mark here......done more than enough to garner Tournament MVP consideration.

Caleb was impressive at the tournament. However, can’t see how a 6’2” 170 lbs guard would be the next JD? IMO, we need someone at the 4 like Carlson (or others considered for that position) vs another guard at this point. A huge chunk of the replies are "Xavier vs Kansas State" (or Xavier vs OSU). I think it's underrated how much that game did for our national profile even though we lost it. It's one of the most memorable tournament games in recent history.
Also, JJ Traynor is a PF as well. And our 2021 targets are almost all big guys outside of malaki branham
Purdue's 1st choice is Hunter Dickinson and then Carlson. And I think Purdue has one scholy to give. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out OR forget the B10. Let's get Xavier's 1st final four and beyond.
