My understanding is they can only be a GA for 2 seasons. I don't even know if they get paid, and if they do, I think it is not much of a paycheck.
In spite of his April Fools joke, don't see Burrell coming back for a GA position, he is making good money and has a nice career going.
Generally you have to be pursuing a graduate degree at the University. Most pay a stipend (i saw Akron is paying $10K) plus tuition waiver.
And you do have to attend classes and be enrolled in school, correct? That was always my assumption. It was one of the reasons I knew Burrell's April Fools prank was a joke. He isn't going to go back to school.Quote:
