I wish he wasn't tying Israel aid to cutting IRS auditing. The latter is proving to be a real win, with lots of overdue monies being collected.

Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said Egypt was “prepared to sacrifice millions of lives to ensure that no one encroaches upon our territory,” dismissing requests for the settlement of Palestinian refugees in Egypt.

Interesting that the neighboring country of Egypt has a clearer perspective on the Palestinians than the woke Democrats and college campus protesters.
Meanwhile our Southern Border remains wide open thanks to one Joseph Biden.

I think reducing the IRS funding was a mistake. It pays for itself in recovered monies owed and better service.
Assume they don’t care about that in making points with the MAGA crowd they scared with bogus news stories.
As for the Speaker’s finances, all federally elected officials (and others) file financial disclosure forms.
Even you can go look them up.

Why do you think reducing the the services of the IRS (which haven’t yet been implemented, that’s a lot of hiring) outweigh the support of an ally? Remember, Ukraine is not part of NATO.

You want the IRS and Israel aid to be a trade off. I don't think they need to be.
The IRS funding was to stretch out over a decade (conveniently not reported by the right). And the increased funding has already paid off in increased back tax payments collected. Modernization of the service, including more e-filing, will also occur.

Pelosi reported her assets and required finances. It seems Thomas did not. Wouldn't you agree Strange?

At least the Republicans are trying to offset increased spending with matching cuts elsewhere in this case, instead of the traditional method of just borrowing more. Congress should do this on a lot more spending. The Democrats never do. The Republicans talk about it, but tend not to do it either.
