Does anyone else get the sense that outside of his immediate family, no one that has actually known or worked with Donald Trump actually likes him?? I mean...NO ONE!! Many in the Republican Party seem to be unable to stand him. They publicly support him because they know he has a big base, and they feel they need the support of that base to stay in power, so they publicly kiss his ass and beg for his endorsement. But privately they all seem to dislike him. It's been reported (well, okay..RUMORED) that many who voted to acquit him at the impeachment trials, including individuals like Mitch McConnell, privately wanted him convicted. They just didn't want to personally publicly vote for it.
And what is it that people like most about Trump?? Well, as best I can tell they like how much the Left DISlikes him. That's really it. I get that The Left can be a bunch of lunatics, and I totally understand how they come off as people who sit in ivory towers and shout at people from their soapboxes. But aside from pissing off the Lunatic Left, which I understand is cathartic, how in the hell can so many people be so convinced that someone who is so narcissistic is worthy of such cult-like praise??

If someone from your company (regardless of where you work) took a bunch of files on their way out the door and didn't give them back, wouldn't your company call the police?? Wouldn't they press charges?? I don't work at a place with high level government security, and if I took any files out of where I work I assure you I'd be prosecuted for it. So....how is this a witch hunt?? This is very much the normal course of action. For ANYONE! Much less someone who totally mishandled classified documents for what I suspect was the dumbest of reasons. "THEY'RE MINE!! LOOK WHAT I'VE GOT!!" I don't think he was necessarily going to TRY and sell them or compromise the country. I just think that having them made him feel important, and that he thought the people he showed them to would also think he was important.
If a court house file clerk stole files, what would happen?? If a probate court file clerk stole adoption files, what would happen?? If someone who worked at a doctor's office took those files, what would happen?? All would almost assuredly be prosecuted.
Trump took CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS!!!!! That's a PRETTY BIG DEAL!! I can't imagine anyone else doing that and having ANYONE say "this is stupid! This is a witch hunt! No one goes to jail for something like this!" Uhh....YEAH, THEY DO!!!
