You’re not getting the point. Taxpayers are having to fund schools through levy’s beyond what the federal and state government are funding these schools. Why do schools have to create levy’s anyways if they are fully funded? Why doesn’t the government put aside adequate funding for these schools in the first place? If the government is fully funding these schools, schools wouldn’t have to ask taxpayers to approve levy’s to fund the schools in the first place. It’s only a tax if the voters vote for the tax. If the voters vote against the levy, is the government going to come in and cover the funding gap?

You can harden these schools all you want but where is the money going to come from. You want schools to put more levy’s in place to pay for hardening their schools?

I'm not sure you understand how schools are funded. Public schools are funded through local property taxes(i.e levies). When communities vote on levies, it's to keep current levies going or to raise a levy to pay for more programs and/or teacher raises.

If we're being asked not to buy Anheuser Busch products because Bud Light is being promoted by a transgender person....

could we get a transgender person to promote assault weapons?

Did you know that while the circus was occurring in the Tennessee legislature last week, it actually passed a bill that Gov. Lee signed into law that massively increased funding and state requirements for school safety?

The so-called "Tennessee three" all voted against it.

What’s a clown show is you actually believing that bill does anything for school safety. Yeah nothing screams school safety like doing emergency drills and “security collaboration” with law enforcement whatever the eff that means. Oh boy and it requires schools to lock doors! Wow! What a bill!
