-then had it be discovered that some of the documents were classified,

Who has ever done anything like that and not been indicted?? It's not that he took documents. It's that he took documents, had a chance to give them back and didn't, then gave some of them back and kept the rest, then gave some more back and lied about how he didn't have anymore, and AFTER ALL THAT was STILL found to be in possession of classified documents.
Had the idiot just given them back the first time, or the second time, or even the THIRD time, we're not having this discussion. That would have been it. It's my opinion that virtually no one who has ever lived in this country would have been given as many chances as he was, over the course of a year, to return stolen classified documents. If I'm wrong, then give an example of this ever happening before...
