Yet you’re the one who thinks the media and the government are all in on some conspiracy while you hide out in your survival bomb shelter. Talk about fear porn. You need to get a life outside of your computer….seriously.

Why don't you two just admit it - you two hate me because I'm not a scared little kittie like you. You're pissed because I'm not an obedient lemming. Admit it, it kills you that I think for myself and don't rely on authoritarians to tell me what to do.
Woof woof....
Interesting stuff in here:
In all 37 case patients for whom data were available regarding the source of infection, the suspected source was an unvaccinated person; in 21 patients (57%), this person was a household member.
In 11 of 37 case patients (30%), the suspected source was an unvaccinated fellow health care worker or patient;
Especially the second one, don't understand how anybody working in a hospital doesn't want to be vaccinated right now.
Several of our friends and neighbors are Doctors and a few others work in hospital administration. Still a relatively small sample size, obviously, but they say that all of the Doctors are vaccinated and virtually all of the nurses. When you see the stats about 'medical professionals' being unvaccinated and spreading COVID at lot of it is probably orderlies and staff at nursing homes and LTC facilities.
We are also in NJ which is pretty highly vaccinated, so that may change when you change geography.
Please just put him on 'ignore' like the rest of of have and move on. You are arguing with the crazy guy on the street corner. He isn't going to see your point. There are people you disagree with, and people that just aren't worth talking too. Ask yourself which one he is.
Yes I think this is pretty encouraging for the vaccine and especially a booster. It gives some major credence to do more research on titer levels. Also more data on viral load in those vaccinated vs unvaccinated would be nice. It looks like most of those with breakthrough cases have lower viral loads. Would be nice to confirm that.
Um good one? Is that supposed to be an insult? Shows how extreme and ignorant you are. Most intelligent and rational thinking human beings have views and thought patterns that coincide with both sides of the aisle. Sorry you have been indoctrinated into the far right way of thinking where the only “ thinking for yourself” is looking up what Marjorie has to say on it and agree.
Wow. That genuinely shocks me, particularly at a Children's hospital. As a Doctor I think you kind of have a duty to get vaccinated unless there is a genuine reason you can't. You are in a position where you are potentially treating immunocompromised patients, and you took the hippocratic oath. Even if the vaccine isn't foolproof it still pretty clearly helps.
This is what I was expecting to see, and consistent with my (small) sample size.
How do people feel about boosters vs. giving the vaccines to places like India and South America? That seems to be the latest controversy. The WHO is saying wealthy nations should be deploying vaccines to developing nations vs giving themselves boosters. I understand the point, but I say we go boosters here first. Hopefully we can expand productive capacity and help some of these other countries start to produce our vaccines.
It's definitely clear that this thing probably isn't going away at all, but that blunting the spread can help us reduce the likelihood of a really nasty(ier) variant coming about. Delta is bad enough.
Obviously the anti-vaxxers among us can feel free to just stay out of this one. We know how you feel.
Looks like Xavier went mask mandatory today. Bummer.
I propose that we start a new thread called "Covid-19 Echo Chamber for Liberals". That way mental midgets like Boozehound will no longer have to be challenged. Additionally, they can also enforce their suppression of free speech and create their own little version of Facebook.
There are multiple people on this board that have issues with you and have you on ignore. Instead of looking inward and thinking maybe you are the issue, you blame everyone else for not being woke to your extreme ideology. And no we don’t have issues with you because we disagree on things, there is plenty of disagreement here with others but don’t have them on ignore. Just some food for thought.
Beginning to see masks everywhere again…sigh. Schools just announced here for both public and private mask mandates…thought we were all passed this. Hoping this is short lived but I have my doubts. It’s not a huge deal, just annoying, and I hope it doesn’t get worse.
Here in Orlando, at one of our hospital chain's location, 70% of physicians vaccinated, 35% of the nursing staff vaccinated. I don't get it.
Yup looks like that's around the same numbers as I'm seeing here then, jeeze.
I also wish that the study didn't have majority of the PCR results showing the alpha variant, would have been nice to see what data they collected through the data variant, but I do very much think there's good stuff in theres. I've actually been pretty curious on what titer levels correspond to immunity too.
Moderna’s data for delta variant looks pretty good preliminarily. Have you seen it? I can try and find it if not
Edit: here is some. Not what I saw before but has some good data.
I’ve done the same thing with the ‘manual ignore’ but I always end up responding, and then regretting it when I realize I’m in an argument with someone who is either insane or challenged. There are several people who are close, but Lou is the only one I have on ignore. There is no value to engaging with him.
As I said, boozehound is a mental midget - just like all other leftists - they can't handle debate, or anything that goes against their orthodoxy. Inevitably, they ALWAYS end up deriding, attempt to discredit, or try to "cancel" those that disagree with them. boozehound is just a microcosm of what leftists are doing to this country.
Go ahead, stick your head in the sand, it doesn't make you more right...
Interesting- thanks again.
So, if the findings of this study can be extrapolated to the broader population (I think they can) then the vaccinated effectively cannot spread COVID. That rate would not sustain the pandemic. Just like asymptomatic spread - it happens but no where near the frequency to sustain a pandemic.
Sounds like more CDC incompetence.
