I always liked him, personally. It's a shame he was the one that broke the string of solid coaching at X.

He seems to be comfortable but the one big thing that always bugged me was that he never gave examples of how he failed. Still won't do it.

But I did enjoy Miami being relevant again. Hell, just play them. who cares.

It was always fun watching the Redskins come into Schmidt Fieldhouse and play the Muskies. (Yes, they were te Redskins back then. Fred Foster was a hell of a player. Elder’s Tim Meyer was a tough guard. Great rivalry game and Charlie Coles was a good coach with a wonderful respect for Xavier. It would be nice to resume especially with Steele at the helm and the Oxfordians on the rise as a program.
