Similar to you, everyone in my social circle is vaxed. We have had relatives visit, we socialize regularly with friends, and are just generally living a pretty normal life except that I don't have to go into the office or travel for work (I didn't mind going into the office, but I really don't miss the travel). If I have to wear a mask in public I do so. If we all would just do that, we could be back to normal by the summer with an added bonus of protecting our kids who aren't eligible for the vaccine yet.
Most estimates say that by the end of May everyone in the US who wants a vaccine will be able to get one, which is way ahead of the initial July/August estimates. This is a good thing.
If that's the case, should we be completely open as a country by June 1st..completely open, no restrictions? Why would we continue to restrict our movements and behaviors to cater to a percentage of people who are voluntarily not protecting themselves?
P.S.- Nobody on this site should accuse anyone else of being a 'keyboard warrior"...that's kinda how this whole thing works :)

Did you ever watch the Netflix flat earth documentary "Behind the Curve"? This thread reminds me a lot of the people featured in the movie. They explain all of their beliefs through various scientific studies and self done research to make their position sound very sophisticated. On the other hand, discouraging people from "asking questions" is pretty fucking dangerous in its own right.
