They're very easily the most undisciplined team in the Big East. They have marginal talent (really like Soriano) but don't play well together and play miserable defense.

Marquette is looking strong either way you feel about St. John's.

Really like Kolek's game. Kid is a baller. He seems the key to their team at times.

Jan 15th will be a match-up of top 20's IMO should Marquette beat UConn at home on 01/23

Creighton is back, and seton hall sucks. Theres certainly a big divide between the haves and the have nots in the be this year, nova seems to be the only one that is meh ( who may end up being good by the end) eveyerone else is either good or complete crap

I think providence may be good as well. We will find out soon enough tonight, but on paper they have a lot of talent in their starting five.

I also just saw that Justin Moore is starting to practice at Nova. If he is able to go this year, they should be a strong tournament candidate as well. He's not committing one way or the other though. He may just say eff it, and take the whole year off.

6 horse race and it honestly could go to anyone. Ranked in order of likelihood of winning the BE

1. Xavier (of course) TIE
2. UCONN (of course) TIE
3. Creighton (getting healthy and have the horses)
4. Villanova (With Moore returning soon, they have enough talent and the pedigree)
5. Marquette (playing much better than anyone expected they would)
6. Providence( I have to admit, I don't know much about their team- Cooley can coach)
