Possibility of Extra Games

Just for everyone's information, it is my understanding (take that for what it's worth) that a proposal is in place that will make one conference challenge game (Gavitt Games, SEC/Big 12, MWC/MVC, ACC/B1G, etc) an exempt game. There is another version of this same proposal that will allow for two neutral floor games to be exempt games.

Essentially an exempt game is an additional game. There's more to it than that, but for practical purposes that's what it is. So if the first version of the proposal passes and you play in a conference game, you essentially get an extra game. If the other version of it passes, you can schedule up to two neutral floor games and count them as additional games.

I personally prefer the latter. But, it's in the very early stages and may not come through at all
