I've never attended any formal Xavier gathering to watch a game. Typically those are found closer to Detroit which is about an hour drive for me. So I just set up my own watching parties for my son and me!

ok im from Sturgis its in St. Joe County, it is like 2 hours from where you are at. Do you go to watching parties anywhere in the state??

It's been awhile, but I feel like I need more distractions at work, so I'm reengaging with the forum. You have 527 more posts than I do on here.

It was probably me.

I have taken a car in to Dan for body work and so has my brother and a friend of ours. All three of us left completely satisfied with the work and the price. I wouldn't have recommended him otherwise. That said, I have not been referred to his neighbor Bob before for other work and have no accounts from anyone who has until now. I don't know Dan from anywhere but my experience with him (and that his son was the Xavier trainer for awhile) and haven't been to his shop in probably ten years. Sorry that the recommendation didn't pan out for you, but I will certainly caution anyone I know to stay away from Bob.

Hey, Fred Garvin here. Listen, I was trying to recall if it was you who several years ago recommended Dan's in Deer Park as a reputable mechanic.
I bring it up because I took my car in there for a new clutch and door handle. I guess Dan only does body work so he refers me to this guy Bob who's is in an adjacent building.

Anyway, this Bob guy didn't fix the door and the clutch makes noises. Just wondering if you dealt with this character or all your dealings were with Dan.
