i've made peace with that game. part of being in the ncaa tournament is having your heart broken. we won a similiar game under similiar circumstances the following year and made the elite eight.

if you watch those two games the similiarities are really something...

-two coaches we don't like

-missed freethrows at the end of regulation

-obtaining a lead in overtime, and blowing it

-a low percentage three point shot that goes in under improbable circumstances

-a higher seeded team trying to avoid an upset

am i leaving anything out?? those two games were very similiar. we won one of them. after a year of replaying that game over and over, if it helped us win against west virginia the following year and make the elite eight, then i can live with it now. it was worth it.

I'd rather watch a couple of old people screw than EVER watch that OSU game again. That game will haunt me until I push out my last breath. There are only a handful of games that have ever ruined an entire month for me:

XU/OSU...Greg Oden rapes Justin Cage, Justin Cage has the game of his life until he toilet bowls the clincher...Ron lewis...die

ND/Boston College...the kick...Pete Bersich pulls a Lewis Billups and drops and interception on the final drive letting that squirellly little prick David Gordon wreck my month

Bengals /Broncos...Brad St. Louis ruined my Chirstmas

All footage of the game should be purged except to show referees how to call an INTENTIONAL FOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only watched that game once: live at Rupp while significantly inebriated. Part of me really does want to watch it on replay to see all the players on that awesome team again, but I'll have to see if I have it in me. I just don't know.

Actually your choice would be similar to the XU/OSU game. Although the only thing getting screwed that day was Xavier. Piss off, John Cahill.
