Xavier still up by six but not looking particularly strong right now. Make that 3. Damn.

The chat itself seemed to be okay, but it said that I could not connect. That didn't sound like a Java problem.

Kind of ugly most of the way, but a nice finish to the half (especially the last shot). While mostly a so-so effort, I really like the way Holloway is playing now. Not that he's been superb or anything, but he's just playing so much better than he was a few weeks ago. He even scored on a drive.

Raymond at the buzzer, and "oops, I crapped my pants!!!"

Back and forth action, but what a great way to end the half. Let's see if SLU has more energy to regroup after that back-breaker. I would doubt it.

I'd keep trying... unfortunately it's fickle. We'll be looking for a replacement in the off-season likely.

College Chalktalk is covering the game live from press row using interactive software. Fans have really enjoyed it. Just an FYI for anyone interested. www.collegechalktalk.com

How is CJ playing? I think he is so key to our success.

I am watching the gamecast and have noticed that he has 7 points and 3 assists.

Is he playing better than he has been the last few games??

I think C.J. looks better. Also, SLU's interior players are pretty bad.

they mentioned that CJ has had a lower back problem the past couple weeks. Maybe he realizes the end is near and is really shielding the pain.

Yeah I also heard he had some internal problems in his torso too. Not sure though.

You have to throw caution to the wind at this point.

Nice start. I think this one's history.

i watched the first half and i thought that CJ is playing more like he did at the end of last season. He has looked strong with his drives and is grabbing rebounds as well. I hope that he is realizing that his time is winding down and now its time to step up.

When BJ made that shot before halftime I said to myself this team is going to advance in the NCAA. That is the kind of shots that Xavier was making when they went to the Elite 8 the first time and the second time. That is the kind of shots Xavier was making when they won the Puerto Rico Tournament. I have a good feeling guys and gals. Seniors are realizing this is it. Here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CJ!! The announcers said Xavier fans might not recognize #20 this game haha. He is looking for the pass a lot more than normal, it's great.

Damn we'll be dangerous if Holloway gets hot behind the arc.

CJ has been very unselfish today and totally in control. It's been missing as of late, and I'm glad to see it back.

Almost time to empty the bench and rest up for tomorrow. Good start to the postseason.

We're cruisin' today. Hopefully Temple and SJU beat the crap out of eachother later.

I don't think Odia ever played this well for us.

2 straight nice plays by Anderson - first a running layup and then a sick pass to Love for a layup with the shot clock expiring.

And a 3rd play while I was typing - a nice little shot for 2 more points.

I haven't seen CJ play this well in a long time. Maybe he's healed.

I agree - that was the most complete game by CJ perhaps all year.

CJ does what CJ do.

That's the CJ we know and love. If he doesn't press and lets the game come to him, he's a true weapon. Hopefully, he remembers this is as the way he helps this team.

Oh yeah:

What's up with Steve Wolf saying that UMass will be dangerous in this tournament?

?????????

Hey Steve...read a box score every once in a while.
