is pretty damn annoying when you lose instead of win.

Now I understand why people like Billy Packer more. Packer has less style but more analysis.

He's been annoying for years. I LOVE Dickie V compared to Raferty. His constant emphasizing his voice (unnaturally) is a constant irritant. Please retire.

Dickie V over Rafferty? Really? I don't think so. I actually mute the TV w/ Dickie V.

yeah Raf is much better than Dickie V. Rafferty can be over the top at times, but at least he sticks to the game that he is calling, Dickie V gets too sidetracked and will start talking about Duke for no reason or go on and on about other sports.

The difference between Raftery and Packer is that Raftery actually likes the game of basketball.

Gotta love Raftery!! He is old school all the way. Sure some of his sayings are overused but "tavern league shove" is a perfect description. Any of you ever played in a tavern league would know exactly what he means.
Just think if Gus Johnson did the game. How many replays would you have been able to listen to " LEVANCE FIELDS FOR 3 !!!!!!!!" before throwing something thru the set.

I'll take Raftery over Packer any day. I'd take Dicky V over Packer also!

Dickie V just said that Kentucky should hire Knight. Seriously, retire and watch Rays game Dickie.

I can't disagree with DC on this take. Knight has all the negative characteristics that caused Gillespie's firing from UK plus all the sideline explosions. Should UK's Prez and AD make knight the next UK coach, he'd likely last less than one full season. That's why it will never happen.
