I was thinking about starting up a free CBS Sportsline Fantasy Baseball league for our forum. If I did so, would there be anyone interested in joining?

I have interest, depending on how labor intensive you plan on the league being. Will there be a live draft? In person or online? Weekly or daily scoring?

I'd love to play in a daily updated league, but I just don't have time for it anymore.

I'm open on the format. I like the daily lineup changes, but I'm also very OK with a weekly format as well. I would prefer to go AL/NL, because I'm already in an NL-only league.

We'd have to decided head-to-head or Roto, and then on the draft. I'd prefer to do live draft, and if you can't make it then Sportsline allows you to set up a list from which to let the system auto-draft.

Any thoughts?

So I'd be happy to get back into it for the xh crown. How is sportsline for baseball? I've done football through them and liked it, but I am used to yahoo for baseball.

Well, keep me in mind, Fireball. I'll do it if it's a weekly scoring league and online draft, either live or auto pick. I don't want to pigeonhole you guys into my limitations, though. So if you have enough without me, I wouldn't be upset in the least to be left behind.

The league is created. I set it up for Head-to-Head, AL/NL players, live draft on 3/10 at 8:30. That the day before the conference tournament starts, so we won't have a conflict with any XU basketball games.

I haven't played any of their free leagues, but in my opinion, their fantasy baseball commissioner service is the best of any that I've played on. I've run a league on Sportsline for the past 5 years and have been nothing but happy.

They also give you free live scoring with the free league, which I believe that Yahoo makes you pay for if you want it.

The head-to-head format for the league is a points format, which I haven't done before, so this should be interesting.

Having looked at the rosters after the draft was completed, all I can say is that some of you autodrafters were screwed by the computer. That, and my team is the greatest fantasy baseball squad ever created. The Bunt Kings will rule the world! That is all.

I wanted to draft but I am stuck with my work laptop since my regular one is out of commission and my work laptop didn't have the right version of flash and I couldn't upgrade to the newer version without having our IT guy sign in and ok on my computer so I was SOL last night. CBS cancelled the league because we didn't have enough owners by midnight last night. I recreated the league with a draft at 8:30 on Friday night. We'll miss the first week, but that's not that big a deal.
