I've long been in the camp that heralds Cap'n Crunch as the king of cereals, particularly Crunch Berries. Yesterday, Mrs. MM brought home a box of Touchdown Crunch for the kids (ahem) featuring "fun football shapes."
After my initial test, let it be said that Touchdown Crunch is Crunch Berries, except instead of red, the berry balls are green and blue and do not really resemble footballs. On the plus side, there are more berry balls than in a typical box of Crunch Berries. The taste, consistency, and funny feeling in the roof of your mouth remains the same.
I'll eat just about anything she buys from Frosted Flakes to Raisin Bran, but the cereals that compete for the top spot with Cap'n Crunch for the 11:30 Seinfeld rerun watching snack are:
Apple Jacks (especially if it's the bottom of the box when all the "dust" settles on top)
Frosted Mini Wheats
Corn Pops
Life (and Cinnamon Life)
Yes, I'm 37 and no, I don't have any cavities.

I'm a Monster Cereal man myself. Give me some Count Chocula or Frankenberry and I'm good to go. And I do have cavities. And a fat ass.

Still around. It's harder to find but most Wal Marts have it. You can usually find it right around Halloween pretty easily. Do you remember Yummy Mummy? Tasted sort of like Fruity Pebbles. Good stuff.

Never heard of Yummy Mummy. Maybe it was a regional character. I'm intrigued.

And Fruit Brute. Yummy Mummy replaced Fruit Brute sometime in the 80's. I don't really remember Fruit Brute all that much but I do remember Yummy Mummy.

When ranking cereals you need to seperate it into sugar and healthy:
Sugar: Agree on the Cap'n Crunch as #1, although I'm a little partial to the generic Kroger kind, I also like Lucky Charms, and either of the flavored Krispies. I also recently found a generic Lucky Charms-type cereal on with chocolate stars instead of wheat, it's great.
Healthy: Raisin Nut Bran, no contest.

I give to you the greatest song about cereal: Milk and Cereal by G. Love and Special Sauce (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UAZu0vF618)
Ignore the two guys pretending to sing the song and just enjoy the song.

It was one of my first four out along with Lucky Charms, Cracklin' Oat Bran, and Honey Comb.

PB Capn Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are the best.

I have never liked cereal. I can't remember the last time I had a bowl of the stuff. It has to have been at least 20 yrs.
