The Setting:
The Musketeers return home after a successful trip South where they won the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
Last Game:
Xavier defeated #12 Memphis to capture the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Championship. Freshman Terrell Holloway paced the team with 13 points, while Senior C. J. Anderson tallied 10 points, and earned tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
Miami defeated Wright St., 55-37. Kenny Hayes lead Miami with 20 points.
Previous Meeting:
In their last meeting on November 13, 2007, Miami upset Xavier 59-57, in Oxford, Ohio.
Tim Pollitz scored 21 to lead the RedHawks while Kenny Hayes added 18 and Michael Bramos finished with 15 (including the game winning points). Derrick Brown led Xavier with 12 points. B.J. Raymond had 11 and C.J. Anderson added 10.
