Dayton Commercial Sucks

Ummm...is it just me or does this suck really bad? Why does it remind me of an SNL skit about High School Musical?

A couple observations and a question:

- It was extremely corny.
- Gregory was as tall as the female cheerleaders and everyone towered above him.
- Who is "Willie"/that black guy that was singled out?

Please notice the preteen cheerleader standing nearly as tall as BG is in the huddle. I thought last years commercial was bad, but then this one comes along. Hilarious.

90% sure "Willie" is the pep band director. Notice the awesome jumpsuit their band wears :p . Plus, I've seen him leading their band at the A-10 Tourney games.

I can't watch it by choice. All things dayton suck, so I can assume the commercial sucks as badly as anything else in that god forsaken town.

I watched that again and laughed so hard I nearly cried. Or was it I cried so hard I nearly laughed. Either way I can't believe that actually plays on TV somewhere in Ohio. Dayton is a disgrace to the state.

Umm, ours is a bit corny too. Yes, Dayton's looks very 'High School Musical.' And the artisitic value to the X commercial is much higher than Dayton's. But no commercial can use that overly dramatic choral music in ours without being guilty of serious corn. Am I the only one that pictures a burly guy jumping off a firy building with a baby in his arms when the music plays?

I just don't think anything can beat Dayton's Aviator-glasses-walking-out-of-the-flight-hanger-Tog-Gun-pseudo-drama commercial for corn value.

Corny? Yep, but production value? Xs is ten times better than daytons. My dead uncle could have done a better job putting together a commercial.
