View Full Version : Costumes at work?
BBC 08

I am currently at work wearing my Fred Flintstone costume for my companies costume contest. I don't think I'm going to win since someone dressed as the Hamburgler but still it's been a fun day. Just curious though if anyone out there is works for a company that has a costume contest or am I the only one.

I don't think grown men should be wearing costumes to work. There is a bit of a cheese factor there. An adult halloween party is one thing. Other than that, I don't think I've worn a halloween costume in public since 3rd grade.

I'm dressed as a douchebag paper pusher that sits behind a desk.

Somehow I don't think it would go over well at my work. Call me crazy.

I more commonly referred to as a drunk Irishman, but people are entitled to their opinions I guess. Hang with me for a few hours, and you will have many insulting things to say about me. That's just how I roll.

I think there is a time and place for everything. I don't want the lady at Subway making my sandwich in a flowing witch's costume that drags the counter and my food.
If you are going to wear a costume to make food, be a baseball player, a cheerleader, or something that won't interfere with your ability to make my lunch. It is the least you can do.

very true...the one that I did find comical was the guy at Starbucks in our building dressed up like Flavor Flav...viking hat, clock, glasses, chains are the neck...very comical

I think so. Looks like a puppy or a small breed like a tea cup poodle.

The best costume I have ever seen was Fred Garvin going as Richard Simmions.
I pissed in my pants. When he come busting out and leading the 'dancing to the oldies' it may have been the funniest moment recorded in all of human history.

I'd rather the lady from Subway do it than someone at the bank or even at a doctor's office. Imagine Dracula taking a pint of your blood over at the Hoxworth center today.
