I hope this isn't a sign of things to come but I woke up with a headache today and was a little sore due to sleeping funny, so I took some Advil and felt better. I then took my kids school supply shopping and then taxied my son to soccer practice. Later, I ended the day with only 2 beers and a nice case of the runs.
Can't wait for 40!

That's funny that he mentions the sleep injury. The sleep injury is a big topic in our family. I'm the youngest five so I always scoffed when my older brothers got older and would report that they were injured sleeping, or worse, stretching.
I just turned 39 and have spent the last three weeks on a diet of Celebrex and Flexeril for an injury that must have been incurred while sleeping. I have spasms from my left pec that wake me up at night. That is until the anti-inflammatories. Here is the Garvin prescription: 6 of Steelehead's Double India Pale Ale(8.6 per cent alcohol) and two Flexeril. It's like having a ton of Valium; you get the buzz and your body feels totally relaxed.
I just hope I don't roll out of bed and start the cycle all over again...or maybe I do.

It's sad when one is injured from sleeping goofy. I'm still workout regularly & I'm in decent shape but I've had back spasms on and off for 2 weeks and I can't pinpoint to anything other than sleeping in a bad position.
