Courtney Townsend and Katie Rutan have given verbal commitments to X for 2009.
Townsend is a PG from Detroit. It looks like a good pickup as she was being recruited by Kansas, Pitt, Georgia, Michigan, and Michigan St--- all good programs. Rutan is a SG from Phildelphia. It doesn't say who she was being recruited by, but ESPN gave her a higher score than Townsend, so I would guess that there were at least a few major schools were involved.
It's great to hear this news because I have heard almost nothing this offseason concerning recruiting.
