Yet another Xavier forum. I post on MM on some occasions and I post heavily on the Club Football Forum with updates on club football. MM likes to stay confined to BB and the fb forum is primarily for football but I was directed to this forum due to conversation about football jerseys, etc. and after I read the posts, I decided to join. I strongly encourage those interested in XU football to visit the club football web-site. I will try to add a link later.

I will be meeting with coach Powers this Thursday to discuss ideas for promoting the club team this fall and I will let you all know what is going on with the 2008 seven game campaign.

Thanks for the link. My meeting with coach Powers is scheduled for Thursday evening. Along with the father of a current player as well as the team's physician, we will be discussing ways to promote the 2008 season. I will be getting back.

Had I known you were on this board, I would have stayed burrowed on the football forum............just kidding. Good to hear from you. I just take this football stuff one day at a time. I do not have lots of money to support the team but I do what I can. All I know is that last year's season was entertaining (see you tube video of Miami game); and I enjoy watching football. The fact that a team has the name "Xavier" associated with it makes it a bit more interesting as does the dedication of the coaches and staff.

I appreciate your comments and I will relay the same to coach Powers!

You guys got me surrounded!!! Good to hear from you as well. Details for the schedule and location of games are being finalized. Met with coach Powers tonight at Dana's and a couple of other team supporterss attended and everyone is excited for the season to start. We discussed some different ways to promote the team but details will have to be worked out.

One of the team's linemen stopped by and had a beer which is okay as he's of age plus practice /conditioning is a week or so away. I will keep you posted.
