Marshall, listed as a Xavier target by some, gave a verbal to Akron at the end of last week. Apparently several people on the Pitt board were upset because they thought this kid was locked up. If he was close to being a Panther, it's quite a shocker that he's heading to Akron.
Maybe his verbal is, in part, a result of his recent appearance in the LBJ tournament.
