I know EJ posted something similar, but his was more to rub sh*t in (Yancy Gates).

Here are the final Rivals 150 Rankings for 2008:

Big Kenny (4-star) dropped just a spot from #41 to #42
Newest addition Terrell Holloway (4-star) stayed at #100
Mark Lyons (3-star) rose 17 spots from #120 to #103

On paper, this is our best recruiting class ever. I doubt we've ever had three top 150 recruits in the same class. On top of that we've got the Michigan Mr. Basketball. And the guy I've heard who could contribute as much as any of the freshman next year is the kid from Pittsburgh (Walsh).

I seriously don't get that excited about rankings. Especially rankings that list Isaiah Thomas at #92. That guy might not be able to coach the Knicks, but he can play.

I notice a certain school in our conference isn't listed. This list again has been proven to be worthless.

Will Rivals redo the rankings for each school's recuiting classes? I would like to see an updated version now that X has Holloway.

Another look (tied with 256 teams for 30th and also listed as just missed):

DO NOT check out the conference rankings on the Rivals page. We are listed as the #3 Mid-Major!

Rivals defines "mid-major" as any team not in a Big 6 conference. Rivals considers Memphis as a mid-major.

Thanks for the link E&B. That ranking is dated Nov. '07, so doesn't include Holloway or Cheeks improvement in the rankings. I would think X would move up some.
