Just broke here. He averaged around ten points this season. I expect he'll draw some attention on the open market. He was high recruited out of Valpo. It's a blow to the Boilers.

Any rumors why? Was he unhappy with his minutes?

I heard he wants to be a starter and Purdue has more talent coming in next year which will make it more difficult to accomplish what he wants. I heard he will transfer to Valpo.

I think Xavier recruited him pretty hard. But the guy was a fairly significant contributor as a freshman. Why transfer? And to Valpo? Maybe he was homesick.

One of the more popular rumors is that he was tired of playing second fiddle to Robbie Hummel.

Muskie, do you have a link? I haven't seen anything on Indystar yet.

I hope his girlfriend is smoking hot. I mean, I hope she is literally "on-fire" because it would take a lot for me to leave a top 3 Big Ten school to go to Valpo, which sounds like a dog food.

Really strange, considering Purdue had a good team last year, and with basically everyone back, plus a good recruiting class, Purdue has a chance to be something really special the next few years. To blow off the shot of being on a final four team for playing for the likes of Valpo seems pretty shortsighted.
