Per Shelby at the Enquirer, Pitino is bringing his coaching staff from New Mexico except possibly his lead Assistant Issac Chew who might get the New Mexico job. Any idea if Miller is taking all of the current Assistant Coaches? Any chance we keep Dante or Andy Kettler?

According to Geoff Grammer who cover UNM "Richard Pitino plans to take (and they've accepted) the entire coaching staff with him − assistant coaches Isaac Chew, Tarvish Felton, Aaron Katsuma, Davie Pilipovich − with him at Xavier," Grammer said in a social media post Wednesday, adding that Chew would be a candidate to replace Pitino as New Mexico's head coach.

Not only do we have our HC sounds like we got our assistants as well. In looking over the bios some of his coaches have HC experience. It is definitely a veteran experienced staff.

I wonder, do you think the coaching staff lives in a hotel rn or what? Figuring that stuff takes time out of your day. I’m sure some have wives and assistants though. Just wonder if that’s eating up time rn of the transfer chase/free agent market.

Since Miller left and Pitino was hired, the transfer portal has opened. Who at X has monitered/helped process X players in the portal?
In these recruiting transfers websites I commonly see Xavier as one team reaching out to XYZ portal player. Was Mario contacting these players or did X ( Miller staff) keep pursuing transfer players with no assurance where they will be coaching for next season?
Do Pitino coaches start contacting transfers as their plane transports them from NM? Or does X pause until all the admin new hire/payroll paper work get processed?

Pitino and staff are certainly already hard at work in recruiting.
I know it was already posted by “Xavier” here above (thank you) about Dante being retained, but it’s also great seeing it tweeted by Rothstein.
It’s nice knowing at least someone affiliated with the team is truly “All-In.”

No word I have seen on that. I did see Cohen, Anderson, Reynolds (no idea what the hell that guy does...maybe he gets Sean coffee and lunch) and David Miller are all going to Texas.
Retaining Kettler and Mario would be good for some continuity.

And why did he got the seat right next to Sean? Was he mainly an analytics guy?
People say he was the DOBO but why would he need the primo seat then if he's not a coach?

Thank the Lord we won’t have to see that guy on tv anymore sitting there like a damn blob.

LOL
You guys are mean. It's tough for the big fellas in here.
DOBO = Director of Basketball Operations - TBH, not sure anyone knew exactly what the guy did.
I've heard "Sean's right-hand man", "analytics guy", "director of basketball operations" - all three? something else entirely?

He is the do it all guy or get it all guy. At least according to a story from a guy recruited by Sean at UA. I work with his uncle and he sat in my office on speaker when he was playing in the NBA.

Reynolds is a St. X grad.
He was head coach's personal assistant I think. Miller wanted him there. He was close at Arizona too.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Pitino hired Kareem Richardson as an assistant coach. Richardson is replacing Aaron Katsuma who left to take an assistant coaching position with Minnesota. Kareem was an assistant for Xavier for one season under Chris Mack.
Kareem has jumped around as an assistant, but he was an assistant for Rick Pitino when Louisville * won the title in 2013. Richardson was also an assistant at NC state when they went to the Final four under Keatts.
