Anybody watching this game?

UMASS was down 22 but are now with in 5 with 3:41 to go.

UMASS has been pressing and raining 3's.

Should be interesting to see if UMASS has any energy to finish off the comeback.

UMASS up 1 with 25 seconds left!

This is crazy!

Syracuse is playing like they are asleap. Beheim (sp?) is doing a crappy coaching job.

UMASS makes 1 of 2...SYR goes down and runs some street ball play and turns over the ball.

UMASS up 2...shooting 2 FT's with 4 seconds to go.

Very funny...good for UMASS

WOW what a great comeback for UMASS...

...And a Horible collapse for Syracuse. I thought only teams from weaker conferences allowed 22 point leads at home to evaporate and lose.

Simply great...A-10 over the Big East...The start of a trend this week I would say. ;-)

Well if they would just enlarge the tournament then Syracuse would not be in that situation...

I thought that UMASS and the Cuse were seeded backwards. Winning 2 games AT Syracuse this year sort of backs that up.

Good point...that way Syracuse could have "screwed the pooch" in the NCAA Tourney then.

Expanding the Tourney is the DUMBEST idea ever. It is perfect the way it is. I would only advocate a 8 team play off for the last 4 12 seed spots 2 days before the start of the tourney.

What a game. And I love the dork who threw a cup of ice onto the court at the end. I hate Syracuse.

I think that was Boeheim's wife.

New York City and MSG is a very nice consolation prize for any team that doesn't make the NCAA tourney. Congrats to Ford and UMass.

Yes indeed. Now we just need Dayton to beat Beaknose and we're on our way to an A-10 championship.

I don't know how it's possible to root for them. I hope they get absolutely smoked.

How often does one even play the same team twice at home? I can't imagine that happens even once a year throughout the entire Division I.

yeah I thought it was a weird stat. i guess the NIT would be the only way, since it wouldn't happen in conference unless maybe they would count a tourney loss if it was played on a team's home court. not sure if that was ever the case in the big east, i know some of the smaller conferences hold all or some of the games on a team(s) home courts.

One thing's for sure...it will NEVER happen to us against Dayton

Great job by UMass in getting by the Cuse the second time.

We have beaten Dayton twice in the same season on their own home court.

I'd much rather see UMass win than Dayton. UD fans have been pulling for every team we've played so far and talking a bunch of junk about Hammer. I hate to say it because OSU fans are assholes...can both teams lose, but I hope OSU drills them.

So, you're rooting against Dayton because of their fans... who you dislike.... because they root against us....

I'm not sure I see the logic here.

Dayton is in the NIT. We have a 6-0 record against them in the last two seasons. Why would you wish them to lose?

The A-10 had it's best non-conference season in like 14 years. The postseason is a chance to build on that. I'm all for UD and UMass going as far as they can. If they met in the final, I'd probably pull for UMass, but I'm not rooting against Dayton in non-conference play.

Great comeback by the Minutemen last night! Boeheim looked like he was gonna cry at the end. Priceless.

Just like the NCAA games I have seen, the refs were absolutely letting them play last night. I thought I was watching a football or hockey game towards the end.

No blood, no foul.

To build on that thought...The A10 had a great OOC season. Once we started playing in conference, teams started beating each other up and cannibalizing the conference. Once we started playing OOC games again in the NCAA and NIT, teams start winning games. Granted, St. Joe's and Temple blew it in the NCAA, UMass and Dayton have been able to secure wins in the postseason that allows for next year to be better than this past year.

It would benefit the conference if the A10 was home to the NCAA and NIT tournament champions...Go UMass

Yeah, as much as I hate UD I really can't cheer against them in the postseason. In fact, I usually don't cheer against them OOC either, just once conference play starts. I'd love to see UMass and UD advance. I don't really care what it does for the conference profile, it just makes us look better when they win.

I think I might have to cheer for UD because we beat them three times. Plus, their fans only come Dayton itself, whereas you can find hillbilly trash all over the state that roots for OSU. So I conclude that I would rather see hillbillies from just the area of Dayton be happy rather than a whole state of hillbillies be happy.

Also, I would like to have two A-10 teams in the final 4 of the NIT.

More like the Jim O'Brien days.

The only Jim O'Brien that exists is the deposed OSU coach. No other Jim O'Brien's walk this green Earth.
