They're a myth. We would be seeing them by now. Think they decided to sleep in this year.

If they do come, please share pics here. But they're not coming I tell ya. So stop spreading rumors.

I think they're all staying inside due to Covid. It's the responsible thing.

If they are anything like the last 2 times, they will be here by the millions. Check back around Memorial Day and give me a report.

More established communities will see more than in areas that were developed in the last 20 years. I lived in Mt Washington for the 1987 invasion and they were a few inches deep on the sidewalk in some places. Nasty little fuckers.

Its still early. Expect them in the next 2-3 weeks. Its simply a ground temperature thing. Once they emerge they will be all over the place

Yep...its been said that late April/early May is the timeframe. What's the plague going to be for 2022?

They are not coming this year. 2020 did not count against their eligibility. They are coming back for their 18th year.

PSA Keep your windows up during Cicada season. 17 years ago my wife's cousin totalled her car because a cicada flew in and freaked her out. Pass this along.
