I will occasionally watch the Pacers if I know Ed is up with the team. I love watching him play. His injury is probably one of my big "if's". I also feel the same way about Thornton's.

I imagine you feel the same way about Darnell Williams' injury?

Without a doubt. We were ranked like #7 preseason, with a returning lineup of Lenny Brown, Lumpkin, Posey, and Williams in their senior/last years. We had never been ranked that high before, and it was based mostly on how we finished the year before.

My biggest "what if" in all of my years living in Xavier Nation, would have to be "what if Thad Matta had pulled Anthony Myles after he was hit with his 4th foul in the 2004 elite 8 game vs Duke".

Just watched some of that 2004 regional final and a couple of things stood out:

1.) The refs had to get myles out of there because he was absolutely abusing the duke frontcourt. That 4th and 5th foul were absolute bullshit.

2. Dolleman and cage were absolutely ready as freshmen and man I miss those guys.

3. Chalmers had become such a leader during that run and was one of those never say die attitude guys. X has been missing that for a really long time and I dont see it in our core 4......yet
