DSR off to the NBA. Figured I's make a thread in case any others declare early.

Wow. Not sure that's a good idea. He was nonexistent in the games against X. I wonder what he's projected at. My guess, even if he's projected 1st round, he drops to the 2nd round. Hope not, but that's my guess.

Stinks that he's not coming back, was hoping GTown would be really good next year. I know they have good young talent, but he certainly would have been a major piece for them.

He won't play in the league, but he is what he is and that's not going to change. Might as well start making money.

Beating Georgetown next year just got a lot easier.

Winner. Not sure why more people struggle to grasp this.

Wow, that one is odd. Not a first or second rounder on people's boards. If you are going to Europe anyway, get your degree, then head there. Why skip that? Either he has his degree or he is having trouble being a student.

Not sure I agree in this circumstance. He's far from guaranteed to have a substantial professional career (here or abroad). He also just had his breakout year. One more under JT3 and he might have gotten some buzz. Not to mention he's one year away from having a huge safety net in a college degree.

How did he just have his breakout year when his numbers two years ago were better than last year?

Adam Morrison is now just finishing up his Gonzaga degree and is a "graduate assistant" on the staff. His job? Breaking down tape.

Good thing he got drafted high and got some money. DSR ain't getting drafted. Long slog. Get your degree son, then take your chances.

The team was all his this year. He was Big East preseason player of the year and first team all-conference, his first appearance on that team. Might not mean much in terms of prospects, but why I considered it to be.

DSR can get his degree whenever. Go to Europe and make some money, that's what is going to happen.

DSR spurned us, went 1-4 against us and won 1 total NCAA Tournament game while we won two in the same timeframe.

I'm interested to see what Kris Dunn will end up doing...

Every mock I have seen has him in the mid first round. I think he'd be crazy to come back.

I would think if he has a guarantee for 1st round, especially top 20 he would go, but who knows. If he does Providence could be in some trouble next year. I dont know what their recruits look like but losing Dunn, Henton, and Harris would hurt pretty bad.

Now this one I agree with.

Sucks for Providence, but that kid will be a first round pick, and will have a long career. In that case, go for it.

They'll have young talent next year, but without Dunn as a centerpiece, they'll struggle.
