At this time of year, it's important to remember what Christmas is really about. And what it's about, is getting Watch ESPN if you're a DirecTV subscribers. Oh yea, be sure and spend some quality time with your family. Well, only if you're able to. Don't put yourself out or anything like that...

Uverse has had it for years- so does Roku.

Roku is still at the mercy of the ultimate cable subscriber though.

If you had DirectTV account and a Roku it wouldn't work.

Like I have HBO with Comcast yet HBO go won't work on the Roku as Comcast has yet to support it.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought as a independent paid service, Netflix and Roku were apart from the cable/satellite dictatorship.

Netflix, yes. Roku is just hardware (and an OS), still have to access to the Watch ESPN app via a participating cable provider.
