Here is the OOC schedule. What is your Prediction??
I'm going with 12-0. XU doesn't lose at the Tas. They win the Wooden but not as easy as some suspect. Mizzu and Auburn away may be interesting with such a young team. XU will have a week to prepare for Auburn. Mizzu not so much. 10-2 at worst.

I'm going to go with 11-1. The team is just too young to go thru the non-con unscathed. Missouri is my second team and Xavier has no business losing to them. Kim Anderson will get them to the right place in a year or two, but Haith almost destroyed that program and it is going to take some time to rebuild. With that said, I expect a loss in the Wooden...they have not played well in these tournaments the last few years.

This season is tough. Many unknowns. 10-3 (I almost went 11-2). I could see this team losing to a team it shouldn't because of some inexperience with each other.

10-3. One loss in Anaheim, one to Auburn, one random.

I would have to go with a possible Auburn loss. Bruce Pearl is a good coach and will have those guys playing well even early in the season. I am thinking maybe one or two more, so 10-3.

If we have 31 games, and you picked earlier 24 (or more), and you go with 10-3 here, that means you need to go 14-4 in the conference.
Rough sledding.
I need 11-2 here at a minimum.
(I do like how everyone picks a win over the bearpussies.)

I think 2 losses. Realistically, I feel like we could lose one in Fullerton, either SFA or Murray could get us, or we could lose on the road at Mizzou, Allbarn or UC. Expecting to go 6-2 in those games (particularly when two are at home and 2 should be the MINIMUM win expectation in Fullerton) does not seem too far-fetched to me.

9-4.
1 loss in Fullerton
1 loss at either Mizzou or Auburn (likely @ Auburn)
1 at UC
1 at Cintas

X seems to always have a clunker around final exam time (reference Bucknell), so that's one loss. A young team on the road is going to be one loss. And until X can show otherwise, they will lose one tourney game.
10-3

Also known as the pre-Christmas game (i.e. Bucknell, Butler, Tennessee).

I think SFA and Murray are going to ne tougher than what most people realize. They're both better than Auburn and probably better than anyone we'll play in the Wooden. I know we're at home, but we're also young and will probably overlook them.

As much as it pains me to say, I think we might lose at UC. We're young this year. It takes a Shootout to "get" the Shootout.
I also think we lose at either Auburn or Missouri.
And, God help us, Wooden. If we escape with just one loss, I"ll be thrilled. We just do not have good records lately during the tournament.
So, I'll say 10-3, but maybe a 9-4 if the pre-Christmas break game curse continues.
I will also happily eat crow when I'm wrong and we're undefeated!

Dez got the shootout his first time
In all seriousness, I'm going 10-3 or 11-2

This is the recruiting class that we were all told to wait on. That they would be Mack's salvation. I want 12-1 at a minimum out of it or I'm going to be disappointed.

I am always ready to be disappointed. It is in my nature. But the kids we have on this team are capable of outplaying all 13 of these teams, and I expect for them to be prepared enough to accomplish it.

I would like the team to start 1-0. I think we have too many new players to start looking ahead at the entire OOC schedule.

I predict 12-1. I think we hold serve at home and lose one of our 3 true road games (@Mizzou, @Auburn, @UC). I also think we find a way to get the tournament victory in Anaheim. We have talent and none of the teams really scare me that much except maybe UTEP.
I would be okay with 10-3 and happy with 11-2, but anything less I think would be a disappointment when you consider our talent and our competition.

i suck as well...i said 11-1 not taking into account the UC game. Thought we would only lose 1 in the Wooden and win the rest. Who really expected us to lose two games out there though? Not counting the UC game, if we go anything less than 10-2 in the OOC that's a complete embarrassment considering the schedule.

I was thinking two or three losses, so it's still possible, but I was thinking maybe 1 loss in Anaheim, not two.

I can't see them winning at Missouri and at Auburn. This team away from Cintas is totally different. Scared and soft.

I will be at the Auburn game with an Auburn fan, so that HAS TO BE A WIN.

got this right....although I thought we would be doing much better in conference. I figured 10 OOC wins would mean we had 19-20 total wins by now.
