He would get to write among esteemed writers like Gregg Doyel. Do it Q!

I don't like it. Christopher is swapping the Basketball Media Guide (BTW, twice in last several years ranked as the Best In America) for a twice yearly
ad-filled magazine that will chocked full of non-basketball "features."
The "Spring Edition" will have nearly zero basketball content as the season will be over with.
Yes, the statistical content of the media guide is available "on line" but I think most of Xavier Nation much prefers "reading it in printed form" that reading it off the computer screen.
I admit, I'm old school, but if the twice yearly magazine is such a good idea, then it should stand on its own merits, and not "robbing Peter to pay Paul."
Keep the Basketball media Guide !!!!

I like the idea. Some out of the box thinking by the AD's office.

Have to be honest, I grab a media guide maybe once a year...its mainly to read up on the new players

I like the idea as long as they keep some of the traditional content in place

I'm all about the robbing Peter to pay Paul plan.

Well, this should be interesting as try specifically sold media guides as an add on to your season ticket plan for $15 extra each. I suppose they could say you bought a one year subscription to this new sports magazine.

And that little ploy will give the new venture to set a high ad rate based on "circulation."

You do mean Gregg would get the opportunity to step-up and write with the elite, eh, Q
