Discussed Baseball. Christopher went to Vandy with the team. Vandy had about 2,000 fans at each game. Proud of what the baseball team has accomplished.

Basketball: Extension is two years. Starting discussing it after NCState. This extension was less about Chris and more about support staff. Filling the gaps in the program. Continuity of staff is important but not forever. Believe they are in the marketplace at the right number so if they do have to replace someone it is possible.

Dante Jackson: Excited that Dante has the opportunity.

Crosstown: Heard from fans on both sides pleading to be back on campus. Series is in the right place now. Wanted a long term solution.

Scheduling: Wake (Both want to keep playing - but also wanted flexibility); Announcing OOC as they go as opposed to waiting till Sept.; Player Movement (frustrates fans and not saying it's healthy, but 40% of Div 1 players change in their first 2 years).

Division 4: Discussion about BCS schools.

Summer Season (Cintas Center): Graduation central for HS. More people for non-basketball events than basketball. Floor is going back in as we speak. 500,000 visitors each year (only 150,000 for basketball included). Cintas built for community engagement not just basketball.

No Ask the AD in July. But back in August before Brazil.

G. Christopher also mentioned waiting to make the announcement until there was some "clean air" to make it. Not many vociferous people seemed to get this when they were complaining about X being slow in dealing with Chris Mack. A few of us suggested patience. X again made the right move to "announce" when they could get the most bang (press) for the buck. Christopher said the deal was all "buttoned up" and they were just waiting to announce. Let's give the admin a little credit and quit second guessing, ad nauseam, everything they do. The ship seems to be in very good hands and sailing in to some very "clean air!"
