This is a very long document and I don't expect anyone to read all of it. However, I suggest that anyone interested peruse the document to get a flavor or what our Jesuit Pontiff suggests regarding helping the poor and less fortunate. It is a very challenging document both to political institution and the Catholic Church's bureaucracy. This is a great way to get very real and substantive conversations started about helping the poor and less fortunate. One thing that hit me that he said, and I am paraphrasing, a sick, homeless man dies on the street and nothing is printed, but the stock market goes down 2 points and that's news. Hopefully, those of us who want to protect the culture of life from the womb to the tomb will be as excited about helping that culture of life along the path from birth until death.
