Read piece in today's Orlando Sentinel and thought this might be a good offseason poll.

I went with Phi Slamma Jamma. As a native Cincinnatian, I revel in the thought of Rose, Bench, Perez, Morgan, et al, but I honestly believe that "The Big Red Machine" name is a bit lame.

Dream Team didn't make the cut?

We should put together the players on the Deam Team.

As a biased Redskins fan, and the fact that fans for years dressed up as their wives, I voted for the Hogs.

I think Big Red Machine is going to get some home field advantage on this one. I voted Phi Slamma Jamma though. Great name for that team.

The Hoggettes actually just retired. They still do all the community service stuff, but they no longer dress up in their outfits and go to the games. I think the charity stuff they do is great (seriously above and beyond) but they are some weird dudes. The best Redskins fan (and toed best NFL fan) is absolutely Chief Zee. He's getting way up there in age, but he is the pinnacle of DC sports fans. As for the Hogs, it's seriously a crime that only one of the Hogs are in the Hall. It was the most dominant offensive line of all time, and a group that won three Super Bowls with three different quarterbacks and three different running backs. Gibbs and the Hogs were by and large the constants. It's hard to imagine another offensive line absolutely dominating like that for a decade ever again.

Shouldn't you be on your honeymoon with Mrs. Titan by now?

UC Irvine is the Anteaters.

They've got nothing on the UC-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs.

I still think there nothing better than the Pac-12 classic of Trojans pounding Beavers.

The Xavier Mountaineers as we were so lovingly called in Atlanta during The Run!
