It is interesting that Duke hasn't been able to recruit big post players in the past 10 years.

They've recruited well, but they seem to lack the size of UNC, Fl, OSU, MSU, etc.

King looks like a good inside force, but that #11 from NCST has be stopping him pretty good.

Under 8 minutes, NC State by 7. Starting to see some chinks in the State armor, though. It's going to be very, very tough for them to hang on unless they have another hot stretch and can a few more threes.

Two handed forearm shiver to Justin Cage is not an intentional foul. Going after the ball hard on a layup attempt...intentional foul. Ridiculous.

Why? It was obviously a hard foul, but he went up after the ball.

Hooked him, but up in the air after the ball. Sure, he didn't care if he got the arms, but it's not like he tackled the guy....or gave him a shove in the chest.

yes. at worst they make both free throws but you have plenty of time to set up a good look to tie the game with a three. Getting a rebound with 4 seconds left then having to bring the ball up court and get off a good shot is not very likely.

If you mean the foul they called against NCST for Nelson then I say it was a hook. Guy totally took his elbow and winged around him, but NCST guy got the D foul. It was getho.


Edit: Duke also got away with a good couple moving screens. The three that gave them the tie was do to his man that was covering him got held pretty long.
