So I saw on facebook today that season ticket renewals are going out this week. So I went to www.goxavier.com and saw they had updated my account with next years renewals. So I went ahead and already renewed my tickets and bought tickets for the Crosstown Shootout, which is on a Saturday in December (which there is a thread about already). Now I can't wait until this summer is over so school will start up again and then bball will be just around the corner. GO X!!!

Ok, I know we were curious (at least there was a thread some time ago) about what effect the Big East would have on season ticket prices.

For my Premium 2 seating - the PSL went down slightly, and the actual cost of tickets went up. 2012-2013 seasont ickets in my section were $465, my 2013-2014 renewal quote is $500.

So the seats went up $35 but factor in the reduction in the PSL by somehwere in the $15-$20 range and the net price increase is only $15-$20 a seat - a rather small price to pay considering the huge improvement in the teams the Big East will be sending to Cintas Center, versus the teams the Atlantic 10 was sending us.

No word on ticket prices in other seating areas, goxavier still lists 2012-2013 rates, I only say my new rate on my personalized renewal.

I just checked my account and my total for 2 non premium tickets are the exact same amount as last year.

It should be noted that the email says there are two more games in the package than last year as well: 18 home games.

Never understood how an influx of TV money could INCREASE the price of tickets and concessions...but that's just me.

Why should they lower/freeze prices just because they got a sweet tv deal?

Supply/demand, basic Econ and the fact they have a much better product o offer means the market will allow higher prices for the live game experience. Why leave money on the table?

I don't see how you say ticket prices went up. We have 18 home games this year compared to 16 in the past. My seats in 201 are $300.00 which is $16.6666 per game. That is cheaper than last year when I was paying $18 per game....I like having 18 home games..

My seats (top-half of 206, no donation required) looks like the exact same price as last year. And I guess if there are more home games, even better!

I just did my renewal and ordered my Crosstown tix, so that should mean everything is in readiness for next season.

It's only 6 long month away!

Lets enjoy some football first. We can't wish the summer and fall away. I CAN wait.

Did anybody notice on the full color renewal brochure, there is no conference logo on the court?

Also, I checked the box asking for info on Big East tournament tickets - perhaps they are conducting a straw poll to gauge demand. If I can work out reasonable transit and hotel costs...
