Wonderful comedic legend. He was born in Dayton, but overcame that to become one of the greats. Thanks for the laughs. :lol:

Truly one of the all-time greats.

Truly makes me sad, as I laugh, recalling some of his antics.

You don't have to just recall, search him on You Tube. Hilarious. His routine with Jack Parr where Parr hands him one object and he's supposed to do something with it blossoms into Classic Comedy.

I will miss his funny ass.

His "Dickey the Stick," as related in John Kieswetter's tribute in Saturday's Enquirer was superb and a mainstay for Johnny Carson years later. He was also one comedian not known for dropping f-bombs or cloactic remarks every other sentence. He was a very funny man. God rest.
