What does everyone think so far?

Great addition. Thanks Muskie. The two seconds you save me each time I visit are going to add up.

*Props to the Twitter feed too. High potential add on there. Would be great if you can sync all the good X follows.

Anyone that XH follows should show up there when the tweet. The schedules will obviously update when they come out.

Funny not seeing the pages for each thread. I always go to what's new anyway rather than any specific area and use the button for last read post.

There's definitely a pattern of traffic that visits the site to go strictly to the Men's Basketball forum and then leaves. Plus I wanted to find a place to have the schedule and what-not.

I go directly to the "New Posts" when I come in. The only time I visit an individual forum is if I am going to start a thread.

Same here. I need to reformat this page on my home computer so it fits better on the screen, and of course I completely forget how to do it.

The Twitter feed could theoretically go on the "front" page or the recent threads page if people would like it there. Just looking for input. I think you all will really like the next tab (currently in development).

So will you now use the basketball tab?

I also generally load xavierhoops.com and either look at the recent posts bar down the right side, or click on the "New Posts" tab - unless I have some juicy bit of knowledge I just can't wait to share with the class, then I will navigate the forum menu.

That said - I do like the look of what the new tabs provide with the schedule down the right, recent Twitter conversation down the left, and the most recent threads in the center. Looks really sharp, now if I can adapt my browsing habits to go there is another thing.

That women's schedule looks very similar to the men's schedule.

(Yes, I know its a placeholder to illustrate what the page layout could be like)

The little tiny words "new posts" takes you to the same place as the big tab next to "Home" called "What's New."

I like the big tab.

If you guys are digging the tabs, you'll really like the last one.

Crystal Pepsi actually.

Wow, that was a blast from the past. That had to have come out between 91-95.

I got pulled over one time in this piece of crap town called Nashville Tennessee :bigstick: and the cop wanted to give me a drunk test because he did not believe that that was clear Pepsi in the bottle I was drinking out of.

Yes this was a long time ago.

Did they confiscate your crystal "pepsi" when they took you to lock up?

This reminds me that the Baltimore Sun website has a tab for just Ray Lewis in the sports section. It is listed ahead of everything except the Ravens, including the O's.

I've been debating a Gladdenguy tab... I'm thinking of putting it right before the "Home" tab.

Just messing with you GG.

I wanted to link the SNL Crystal Gravy skit, but I couldn't find it.

So 1990 (or 1991).
