Finished 12-10 in the regular season for the AAA Charlotte Knights (2.47 ERA) - he'll start the Knights' playoff opener against Indianapolis (the Pirates' AAA affiliate). I wonder what chance Leesman has this year of getting a cup of coffee with the White Sox this month. Leesman (unlike Rosenbaum with the Nats organization) is on the White Sox' 40-man roster and would be eligible for a call-up once Charlotte finishes their season.

Great for Charlie. Served him plenty of "pops" during his X career. FYI, you don't need to be on the 40 man to be call up during September. I used to think the same.

He had a great outing last week - pitched 8 innings (gave up 6 hits and 1 ER with 6 strikeouts) in the Knights' Game 1 win over Indy. He'll start Game 1 against Pawtucket tomorrow night and I would imagine he'd also start the AAA Championship game should Charlotte win the IL title this week.

Great to see him pitching his best baseball in September.

At least those numbers bode well for him when the rosters expand in September. Then again, it's not like the Pale Hose are going anywhere this season.
