We are superstitious mo fo's.
I am rocking the same X gear I wore on Friday and told my family to have the same seating arrangements. I do not want bad mojo because – dag nabit - I do personally have an impact on the game!
What do you do to help our boys?
Damn, I am ready to sacrifice a chicken like Cerano to guarantee a win!

The Blue Blob has been riding on a carving of a sea turtle on the coffee table for virtually the entire season. He sits there, watching the game with me.
I think I'll wear my X cap for this one as well.

Sitting in the same spot and wearing the same shorts as Friday night. Wearing the same t-shirt I wore during our win to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

Wearing the same shirt combo as I did vs SLU and ND and drinking exactly four cans of the best Natural Light money can buy, the same number I drank for wins vs UD, SLU, and ND.

I have bought two new hats in the bookstore this year and now refuse to wear them because I think they're unlucky. I'm wearing the hat that I bought several years ago that has been through many good seasons.
And although I would like to put my flag back up for tonight's game, it was hanging outside the house as we lost 5 of 6 earlier this year, so it's banished to the basement.

OK, South Carolina is way too far from BWW in Rookwood to be in the same place, but I got the same shirt on I got from you (Pablo's Bro).....so, it's a done deal.

I've got a bit of a problem here because Little LM was a puker Friday and she's (thankfully) overcome that bug, so I wasn't up this morning at 3am, and I haven't spent the day running around with a bucket.
However, we did make homemade pizzas and grilled them tonight, and I made sure to put bacon on mine since my only sustenance on Friday was a cold piece of leftover pizza with bacon on it.
Also, on Friday night, I got very, very tired in the second half, leaving Live Chat and going upstairs to watch the game from bed. In between the time I signed off on LC, let the dogs out, turned off all the lights, and got upstairs, we were making our comeback. So, if we're down tonight, I'll leave my perch on the sofa and make my way upstairs and watch from the bedroom.
I'm not wearing the same shirt, but I do have my X earrings in and I gave Little LM and myself Xavier pedicures this morning.
Here's hoping this will all be enough to propel us to victory!

I drink Blue Beer.
This tradition started for me at the Garden's during the NIT win against Princeton. It was St Patty's day and the beer guy was offering green food coloring for green beer. He had the full set of colors so I aksed for Blue instead. Do it for all of the big tourney games now.

I haven't showered.
In other news, I'd go to bw3's again but Chermy23 had a little too much fun at Haps last night... It'll mess up the karma if we don't go together and annoy others by getting way too excited when that Pandora commercial with "it started with with a whisper" comes on...

The tornados and golf ball size hail in the Columbus area are keeping me from going back to the local alumni gathering at Montgomery Inn in Dublin for the 2nd round (seriously... I have my volume all the way up just so I can hear it over the tornado sirens and hail clanging on my windows right now).
However, tornado sirens be damned.... I don't have a tv in my unfinished basement. Thus, if you never see me post here again, assume a tornado must have taken me out. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Go Muskies!!

I'm posting tits to feed the streak in the X Lounge before games and then sitting in my good luck spot on the couch while wearing an X shirt.

I've got a 55 incher in the living room and a 25 incher in the bedroom (that's what she said). On Friday, I was sick. I watched the whole game from the bedroom and we won. At halftime last night, I went upstairs because I felt as if I was letting the team down. We all know what happened.
Now, this Friday gets weird. My parents are visiting me from out of town. Can I really bail on the living room? Maybe we can all watch it from my bed, you know, kick it like we did when I was 5.
It may have to be done.
The Xavier chalice hold over 50 ounces of Yeungleng and gets filled shortly before tip off. The blue pants and Xavier shirt and hat have remained the same. I've found it all to be very effective.

I'm not sure the parents want to see your 55 incher. Sinner.

For the Baylor game, I will be bringing my autographed Romain Sato shirt out of retirement. This shirt is undefeated lifetime in Sweet 16 games in Atlanta. Not sure what I'm going to wear Sunday.

I posted this to my facebook, under the picture of Mack on the floor in Atlanta.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
Theodore Roosevelt
I also changed my facebook profile pic to the one of Mack holding the mackette that was in yesterday's enquirer.
i will tile our shower today, clearing my mind of all thoughts, i will go into the mental zone, then by 7pm my karma will be flowing like the ohio river in the great flood, ready to wash over any and everything "texas" in the way! nothing from the lonestar state will stand in the way this time!!!!!!!!
