One of the best touchdowns you'll ever see:

That was one hell of a play. I was listening on the radio and the announcers basically stopped speaking the English language when it happened. Tough task next week but I think the Bengals have it in them.

Looking back, who would have thought?
Who would figure that we lost #3 and 85 and what ever TO's number was, then Shipley goes down injured, the well paid prognosticators projected us as recipients of the number 1 pick.
But picked a rookie #14 in the 2nd round, a #1 pick in AJ and boosted #89. That and the defense is back in a quieter but more effective way.
The only thing left to do is get some rear ends back in the seats and restore the jungle.
Will they end up in the playoffs? Big mountain to climb next weekend.

Say what you will about Mike Brown and his,,,, er,,,, methods. Whether he did it, or he let the guys who work for him do it, this year it worked.

Dalton has had a great year, but is he a long term answer at QB? Does beating the Ravens (or not) make a difference?

We aren't talking about Tebow here. Dalton is actually throwing the ball and being a QB. Considering what he's done as a rookie, I'm more than happy with the Red Rifle going forward.

Smartest QB in town since Ken Anderson and in the NFL talent is great but the QB's with the mot smarts many times trump the QB's that have the most talent.

Dalton's rookie season has been much better than Peyton Manning's rookie year and very similar if not better than Tom Brady's, Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers first year as starters. Other than Manning the other 3 did not start their rookie year and Dalton's stats are as good as those 3 in thier first year as starters in the NFL. Oh and he is doing it as a Bengal and on a team that was supposed to suck. I would say he is the absolute answer and with Green he can be a stud for a long time as long as he stays healthy and they surround him with a decent line.

this is going to be the replay we're going to see again and again I suspect for a long long time.
It got it's run as #1 POD on the ESPN circuit, viral on you tube, and it made the morning network news shows, not just the day after, but for several days.
Love it, hope JS can hold that in his pocket as just the beginning of a long fruitful career!
think of next year's wide out gang. AJ, Simpson, and Shipley back? Remind you perhaps of a trio like McGee, Collinsworth and Downtown Eddie Brown?

That was the coolest thing I've seen in the NFL in a long time.

Are you trying to emulate Daugherty's blog style? I can't figure out what you are talking about.

As for play, it was an awesome move. The fact that he stuck the landing made it awesome. It also has lead everyone to ignore the likely fact that if Simpson had just run full speed for the corner of the endzone, he was most likely going to score in a slightly less dramatic fashion. Still, it was a "did that really just happen" play.

No beating the Ravens doesn't make a difference. In 15 games he has proven he is worthy of his position.

To see Dalton with the numbers he has, the wins he has, in a year when he had no OTA's, no training camp, and a rookie as your number 1 receiver... is nothing short of impressive.

I am not sure if you were being facetious, but Dalton is in the conversation for rookie of the year, and is among the best rookie QB's in recent history.

I bought 8 tickets today using the buy one get one deal. This Raven's game is basically a playoff game against a tough divisional rival. I don't think I will ever see a deal like that again.

I am not a season ticket holder. I used the name and address of the season ticket holder and they looked up his account (he is my brother). The didn't even ask me for the account number. There was a line when I was down there and I waited for around 15 minutes. The people in line said that if they didn't sell them to me that they would help me get them with their account. If you go down there as a Bengal fan with a good heart someone is going to help you get cheap Bengals tickets.

They even had free hot chocolate and I was miffed that my boys missed some of the players showing up. That is awesome that they did that and I wish that I was there.

The cheapest ticket is $65, and that is what my tight yass was buying. At two for one I am taking the kids at $32.50 a seat. The weather looks to be in the 40s on Sunday. The game is basically a playoff game. The deal is too good to pass up.

I hope we win and my kids remember it because daddy is too much of a tightwad to buy them football tickets at regular prices. I would also like for the city to do it's best to pack that place and send the Bengals to the playoffs in style.

I am excited and the kids are too. Lord knows the Ravens are among the best in the league. This is freaking prime time with the baby Snipes in the house! WHO DEY!!!!

Great. A bunch of "new" fans are going to bring their kids to this game, then write angry letters to the Enquirer about how fans at football games drink beer and use swear words.

My kids have been to a few games. They know about the swear words. I warned my in-laws about it too. Their kids are home-schooled in the country so they live in more of a bubble. I started talking about the Ravens game on Christmas and they wanted to all go too. That is why we bought 8 tickets. I will even have Garvin in the house. I couldn't pay my wife to go to a football game or any other sporting event. Funny how opposites attract.

I just tell my kids not to make a big deal about it, don't do it yourself and don't stare at people. It's not like my kids haven't heard the words before. My real fear is that my 8 year old gets excited and joins the fray, dropping an F-bomb in front of his young home-schooled cousins. They will never let them play together again.

As seeing people drink beer, I think we have that covered.

Football games truly can be a human zoo. The rules of the social compact are relaxed to a great extent. You can have a some guys go to a basketball game in a Snuggie or as Popes and cause a little stir, but that would be tame compared to modern day gladiators.

I hope that Mike Brown can get some jets for the National Anthem. Nothing gets my testosterone flowing like a flyby from the Arsenal of Democracy.

I hope that we sell out but don't tell the Ravens so that we can sneak up on them.
