74-69 St. Joe's with 11:39 remaining. Is anyone playing defense?

78-73 SJU with 8 left. 1st team to 100 wins.

tied 83-83 with 2:39 left - SJU can't afford to lose this game.

Is it on TV or channel surfing? I was just following it online.

Thanks! I'm listening now and LaSalle up 3 with 20 seconds or so left. SJU needs to pull it out to get more A10 teams in the tourney.

Damn, St. Joe's - is this a one-bid league?

Not good for their tourney resume.

wow - LaSalle was at the foul line leading by 1 with 10 seconds left. The LaSalle guy missed the free throw. Rob Ferguson took it the other way, drove to the basket, but got stripped by Rodney Green with 1.4 seconds left. SJU fouled. LaSalle missed both free throws, so SJU had 1 last chance with 1.4 seconds left. SJU got a shot off at the buzzer but missed.

90-89 LaSalle won.

Weird ending to the game. LaSalle wins by 1. LaSalle is fouled with 1.7 seconds or so on the clock. The guy misses the first one and "fakes" a second shot...got distracted by looking over his shoulder at something. That turned the ball over to St. Joe's and they couldn't convert at the end.

It would help X if the top teams of the A 10 (which X beat) would win.

Oh well, it is a intra-philly battle. Anything can happen.

AC is going to be very interesting - there will be a lot of teams playing for their NCAA lives.

And LaSalle wins. I think the A-10 is looking at 2-3 bids as opposed to 4-5 bids.

Right now, Xavier and RI are in. I think UD has to win some games to get in, despite their RPI. St. Joe is now out. St. Joe's RPI is probably in the 50's as a result of this loss. UMass has to win some games to get back in.

it's frusterating.

The A 10 is better than most people think.

Wow. That was crazy

Doesn't LaSalle's head coach look like Cameron from Ferris Bueller?

URI is definitely getting in; bid #3 is currently up in the air right now.

If the season ended today, I would agree. But URI has a lot of work left to do.

Their remaining schedule - UMass, SJU, @GW, @LaSalle, UNCC

The UMass game is Thursday night on ESPN2. They really could use a win.
