Why would anyone want to play a 4:00pm game on a Monday...Georgetown and Providence are playing it right now?

It's Presidents Day. A federal day off. Why not play at 4. Ther should be playing this game in DC.

President's Day seems to be losing its luster...A lot of companies don't give this as an off day anymore...a lot of schools are getting away from giving the day off...Federal offices are closed, but less and less and taking off

And parking.

It seems to me like I remember when there were two holidays (Washington and Lincoln) for president's birthdays in the 1st quarter. Am I making this up? If not, when did the change happen?

I'm 36 and don't ever remember having two separate holidays.

I saw this too and thought it was odd.

I remember celebrating Washington and Lincoln's birthday back in elementary school (maybe 1st or 2nd grade); it's been a while since they've celebrated them separately.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day off today, and I am glad my company gives the day off. I do remember early in grade school celebrating both Lincoln's and Washington's birthday separately. I turn 35 this year, and graduated HS in 91.
